Valtoris Warranty Policy

At Valtoris, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our industrial IoT products. This Warranty Policy details the coverage, limitations, and procedures for warranty claims on products purchased through our official channels.

Warranty Coverage

Valtoris provides comprehensive warranty protection for manufacturing defects and quality issues arising from normal use during the warranty period. Our warranty coverage includes:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions
  • Damage occurring during shipping and logistics
  • Quality-related performance issues
  • Round-trip freight costs for warranty-approved returns

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

The warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

  • Products that have exceeded the specified warranty period
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair attempts
  • Improper use, mishandling, or negligence by the user
  • Damage caused by natural disasters including but not limited to fire, flood, lightning, or impact
  • Operational damage due to improper equipment usage, including physical damage to casings, power supplies, or connectors
  • Customized products, where changes or cancellations are only permitted prior to manufacturing commencement, unless explicitly approved by Valtoris management

Warranty Period

The warranty period commences from the original delivery date and varies by product category:

  • Standard Products: Warranty periods as specified in product documentation (typically 1-3 years)
  • Clearance Products: 1-year warranty from delivery date
  • Customized Solutions: Warranty terms specified in custom order agreements

Warranty Return Process

To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a Support Request: Contact our support team to open a ticket and request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number
  2. Receive Authorization: Wait for warranty approval and RMA number assignment
  3. Return Shipment: Ship the defective product to the designated service center, including the RMA number clearly marked on the package
  4. Inspection and Evaluation: Our technical team will inspect the returned product to verify the warranty claim
  5. Resolution: Based on inspection results, we will either repair the product, provide a replacement unit, or issue appropriate credit/refund

Advanced Replacement Program

For our valued distribution partners and established dealers, we offer an advanced replacement program to minimize project downtime:

  1. Submit RMA Request: Open a support ticket with detailed product information and issue description
  2. Advanced Shipment Approval: Upon warranty validation, Valtoris will immediately dispatch a replacement unit
  3. Receive Replacement: Install the replacement unit upon arrival to maintain operational continuity
  4. Return Defective Unit: Ship the original defective product back using the provided RMA number
  5. Account Reconciliation: After receiving and inspecting the returned unit, Valtoris will apply a credit note to zero-balance the advanced replacement order

Additional Notes

  • All warranty services require proof of purchase from authorized Valtoris channels
  • Products must be returned in original packaging or equivalent protective materials
  • Warranty repairs and replacements extend the original warranty period by 90 days or to the original expiration date, whichever is longer
  • International warranty claims may be subject to additional shipping and handling fees
